January 2010

We had a lot of fun in January.....fun events and fun visits from friends. Also, just the usual fun of having an adorable little girl.

Isabel and Jason's latest activity is to build "castles" with Megablocks. We had to go buy another bag because Jason didnt' feel like he had enough to make a good castle.

Early in the month we went to visit our friends in Clermont, the Knesers. Almost the whole church gang was able to make it. It is amazing how things have changed over the years with kids! Here we have Tyler, Tori, Aiden, Anna, and Isabel. They are all so cute!

We took Isabel to her first circus performance in Tampa. It was a cold, rainy day, so we to use the cute lady bug umbrella. Isabel also thought it was pretty neat to wear my scarf. It stayed on through most of the show.

This was during the preshow. The MC actually came up to us and said "Hi Isabel" over the loud speaker. Pretty neat! Isabel wasn't too sure of the clowns though when they came up to her. Maybe she will think they are neat next year.
The Greatest Show on Earth!
This is the dress Jason's mom, Lynne, made for Isabel. It is SO cute! Lynne is very talented! Since the clown nose from the circus matched, it had to be tried on.
Over MLK weekend our friends from Birmingham, Kristine, Brett, and Evelyn came to visit. Evelyn is only about 5 months older than Isabel. They became fast friends!
We headed to the Magic Kingdom while they were here. The girls had SO much fun. They just seemed to be the perfect age to go there. Also, the weather was really nice and the park was not busy. Isabel thought the princesses were pretty neat.....this is a fairly new thing that she has become interested in.
The girls with Belle.
Evelyn was good at showing Isabel the ropes.
Mickey and Minnie!
Isabel wanted the really big Minnie.....but, we settled on a smaller version.
By the end of the day, the girls were still all smiles. It was a very fun day!
We also wented to a really neat park here in town.
Evelyn brought a bunch of dress up clothes. Isabel loved it.
Later in the month, some more friends came to visit.....Joe, Rhonda, Ava, and Lily. There was more dress up time. Isabel got to use some of the curlers Rhonda brought.
Ava also brought dress up clothes. Isabel had fun being a princess.
It was a very fun time!
