Yea Santa!
Well, not really. We took Isabel to a local church in town that had a huge light display and various "commercial" Christmas characters....elves, Santa, Gingerbread Man, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, the Grinch, and even some Disney Princesses. We stood in the long line to see Santa, but as you can see, Isabel was not impressed. We did everything to try to get her to smile, but nothing. Oh well, maybe next year. The good thing about the night was that after you go through the "commercial" Christmas themes, there was an area set up as if it was Bethlehem, complete with live animals and hay on the floor. There were several different scenes with actors that were telling the Nativity Story. It was nice to see the real meaning of Christmas being acted out. I am sure we will go again next year.
